Job summary

BMI Group is seeking a seasoned SAP Solution Owner to join its Enterprise Applications team in Reading, UK. You will lead solution designs for BMI's procurement platform and ensure architecture aligns with enterprise standards and business goals.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, 8+ years as an SAP Solution Architect, strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge, and proven leadership and communication skills. SAP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years as SAP Solution Architect with SAP expertise.
• Deep knowledge of SAP technologies including S/4 HANA.
• Strong SAP architecture, configuration, and customization.
• Ability to design and implement complex SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• SAP certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Procurement, Vendor Management, PO processing and Invoice Verification.

Responsibilities

• Account for key decision-making on solution designs within the BMI Procurement process.
• Ensure requirements are met while supporting BMI business objectives and industry best practices.
• Champion standardisation and simplification of solutions.
• Combine deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of business processes to design and implement solutions.
• Act as the bridge between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners to ensure solutions meet business requirements and align with BMIs Enterprise Architecture.
• Work closely with delivery partners to ensure builds meet design and technical specifications, BMI standards, and documentation requirements.
• Develop comprehensive and fit-for-purpose solution designs.
• Collaborate with vendors to assess cost implications and document the overall impact.
• Define and implement an optimised system architecture.
