Job summary

Sotalent is seeking an experienced SAP professional to design, develop, and support enterprise SAP applications across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and S/4HANA landscapes. Hybrid work in Southsea, England, United Kingdom, with opportunities to influence digital transformation projects.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support SAP solutions while meeting agreed service levels and quality standards.
• Deliver end-to-end SAP development activities, including coding, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Create and enhance SAP applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, process flows, and system design artifacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Contribute to governance standards, development methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of SAP environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP development, implementation, and application support.
• Proficiency in SAP technologies including ABAP, OData, CDS Views, SAP Workflow, WebDynPro, SAP Fiori, and UI5.
• Experience designing business process diagrams, data flows, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of SAP functional modules such as Finance (FI), Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Warehouse Management (WM).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP landscapes and transformation programs.
