Europe Senior Sanctions Manager

Join HSBC as a Senior Sanctions Manager in the Risk and Compliance function, supporting UK and European sanctions law and regulations. You will advise on sanctions-related clauses, support regulatory filings, and act as a subject-matter expert on sanctions risks and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and reviewing sanctions clauses in contracts
• Supporting regulatory reporting for sanctions
• Providing SME knowledge on sanctions and compliance matters
• Analyzing sanctions risks and ensuring remedial actions
• Working with investigations on sanctions issues

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of UK/EU/UN/US sanctions
• Experience in reviewing and drafting contractual clauses
• Experience with regulatory reporting and high-risk client exposures
• Analytical skills and ability to communicate findings effectively
• Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience liaising with regulatory bodies; knowledge of OFSI preferred
