Job summary

Checkatrade, the UK's leading home-improvement marketplace, is seeking a Senior Engineer (Salesforce) to own and evolve our Salesforce org within the Enterprise Engineering team. You’ll design high-performance solutions across Sales and Service clouds, integrate external systems, and help shape the broader architecture while embracing AI-powered coding practices.

You’ll work with distributed engineering and data teams, manage secure deployments, and champion quality through tests and reviews, as

Qualifications

Solid Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and DevOps.
Experience in Apex, LWC components and Flows with clean, scalable code.
Familiarity with AI-driven coding methods and architectural guidance.
Hands-on with enterprise integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain high-performance Salesforce solutions across clouds and integrations.
Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
Architect secure, scalable integrations via REST APIs and platform events.
Collaborate with distributed teams to keep data flowing cleanly and architecture coherent.
Own deployment pipelines spanning Salesforce and other services for smooth releases.
Promote code quality through tests and thorough reviews, mentoring others in AI-assisted development.
