Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in London is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data Cloud.

You will lead technical implementations, automate processes, integrate via REST and SOAP, and drive best practices with AI-enabled Salesforce technologies, working in a hybrid mode with Architects and Business Stakeholders.

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing Agentforce and Agentic AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
• Develop scalable applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform technologies.
• Implement and support Salesforce customisations, workflows, approvals, security controls, and automation processes.
• Design and develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and other enterprise integration patterns.
• Develop reusable Apex classes, controllers, triggers, and framework components.
• Build and support Agentforce and Agentic AI solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Implement SOQL, SOSL, and dynamic query solutions to support business requirements.
• Write high-quality unit tests and maintain strong code coverage standards.
• Support CI/CD processes, Salesforce DX implementation, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and platform issues.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead technical aspects of Salesforce programmes, including data migration, integrations, custom development, and third-party applications.
• Contribute to development standards, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements.

You will lead the technical implementation of Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud, while driving best practices in development, integration, automation, and platform governance. The role requires strong expertise in Salesforce development, architecture, integrations, and modern AI-enabled Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing Agentforce and Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong Salesforce administration, configuration, implementation, and development experience.
• Expertise in Salesforce customisation, security models, workflow approvals, validation rules, and data management.
• Strong Apex development experience, including classes, controllers, triggers, Visualforce pages, and web services.
• Experience developing and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, dynamic queries, and performance optimisation.
• Experience writing unit tests and implementing best practices for code quality and coverage.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous Apex, including Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Future Methods.
• Experience with Connected Apps, Salesforce DX, CI/CD processes, and deployment tooling.
• Understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and enterprise application development.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce Service Cloud Certification.
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
• Experience working within public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Salesforce DX, Jenkins, or similar DevOps platforms.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance requirements within enterprise organisations.
