Job description

The Senior Administrator will oversee continuous enhancements to the Salesforce platform. This individual will play a key role in driving the implementation of new features, designing scalable best‑practice solutions and maintaining day‑to‑day operations through a consistent and holistic approach that complements our tech‑infrastructure ecosystem. This includes championing the rollout of Einstein, GenAI and predictive‑insight features that unlock new automation and decision‑support capabilities.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.

In the role of Senior Salesforce Admin, reporting to the Salesforce Platform Lead you will contribute to the day‑to‑day administration of our Salesforce system while learning the breadth of knowledge from our in‑house team. This is an in‑person role based at our London head office, and you must thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment - working with fellow Salesforce Admins, Developers and Tech Product Owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scalable solutions across Sales, Service, Data & AI Clouds using Flows, validation rules and light Apex where necessary
  • Govern access, environments and releases (profiles, permission sets, sandboxes, DevOps) to keep the org secure, compliant and stable
  • Lead proactive org health: security reviews, release readiness, Optimizer, data‑quality audits and adoption dashboards
  • Extend and fine‑tune Einstein GPT, AgentForce and Data Cloud pipelines to power AI‑driven insights and automation
  • Identify, prioritise and implement new platform capabilities that drive measurable business value
  • Champion best practice and mentor the team, maintaining clear documentation and knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • Proficient with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Record Types, etc.)
  • Experienced in integrating third‑party apps (e.g., Conga) via AppExchange, APIs and middleware
  • Skilled in SOQL and comfortable authoring lightweight Apex when configuration alone won’t suffice
  • Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, with solid exposure to Service, Data, Experience and AI Clouds
  • Solid grasp of release management, change governance and DevOps‑based deployment cycles
  • Applies a disciplined, methodical testing approach to ensure quality and stability
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Hands‑on with Einstein GPT, Prompt Builder / Prompt Studio
  • Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and grounding GenAI on CRM data

Soft Skills

  • A proactive attitude towards platform enhancements
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • A keen interest in developing and growing Salesforce knowledge
  • Creative and positive in approach and able to adapt to a changing environment
  • Curiosity for emerging GenAI capabilities and a habit of rapid prototyping/experimentation
