Our client, a worldwide leading manufacturer, carries out product design, development, and manufacturing at their site in East Sussex. They have subsidiary companies in Europe, North America (which includes a manufacturing facility), and Australasia, as well as partnering agents throughout the world.
Global sales are now > GBP 70m with approximately 350 employees worldwide. This position will involve travel throughout the UK (and occasional overseas visits) to promote, sell, and support their products to both potential and existing customers.
Our client has enjoyed significant growth in recent years, especially in the UK market, which has grown from around GBP 5m to over GBP 15m in annual sales. They are now looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join them at an exciting time of positive change. The candidate will join a team of around 10 admin, sales, and after-sales support staff focused primarily on the UK market.
Importantly, the role also has a view to succession planning, and the successful candidate will be expected to take on a lead role in high-value contract negotiations and help support and manage key customer accounts with GBP multi-million annual spends.
Our client is looking for an individual who can demonstrate a highly successful track record in sales within an engineering/manufacturing/electronics/software environment.
