The individual must bring the energy of a hunter, the credibility of a senior advisor and the commercial judgement to turn access into qualified pipeline, proposals and closed revenue.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to shape Expleo’s growth agenda in a strategic sector, connect the breadth of its capability to board-level client priorities and establish the business as a trusted partner to regulated, technology-led

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a focused sales strategy for priority banking, financial services and fintech segments.
  • Personally originate, pursue and win high-value new-logo opportunities while expanding strategic existing accounts.
  • Convert current client relationships into broader consulting, quality engineering, digital transformation and managed services engagements.
  • Build a qualified pipeline and create clear pursuit, stakeholder and closure plans for priority opportunities.
  • Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to team performance through disciplined forecasting, coaching and continuous performance monitoring.
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite, business, operations, technology and transformation leaders.
  • Position Expleo as a strategic partner by connecting client priorities to relevant consulting, quality engineering, digital, data, automation and managed services capability.
  • Work with business development, delivery and solution teams to sharpen sector propositions, qualify opportunities and increase win probability.
  • Leverage relevant regional and group capability to support growth in major UK and international financial services accounts.
  • Represent Expleo externally through banking, payments, fintech and financial services networks, events, client forums and thought leadership activity.
  • Lead, coach and develop sales colleagues, creating clear objectives and a high-performance culture.
Essential skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Credibility and gravitas to engage effectively with C-suite, business, operations, technology and transformation stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a value-led approach focused on client outcomes, benefits, pain points and value creation.
  • Proven ability to influence complex stakeholder groups and build internal and external sponsorship for major opportunities.
  • Strong new-business hunting capability, with the discipline to identify, qualify, pursue and close priority opportunities.
  • Ability to shape and close complex, high-value, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and highly motivated, with the resilience to operate through lengthy sales cycles.
  • Strong coaching and performance-management capability in a player-coach sales environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to mobilise multidisciplinary teams around client opportunities.
Experience
  • Successful senior sales experience in banking, financial services, payments, fintech, financial market infrastructure, consulting or a closely related technology-led professional-services environment.
  • A strong senior network across banks, payments organisations, fintech platforms, wealth and asset managers, regulators or financial market infrastructure providers.
  • Proven success in securing new accounts and expanding strategic clients at senior-management and executive level.
  • Experience selling complex consulting, transformation, technology or managed services solutions into regulated financial services organisations.
  • A track record of exceeding personal and team sales goals and managing a high-quality pipeline and forecast.
