Job description

Senior Sales Executive / Sales Controller required in Stoke on Trent

Salary £28k basic with an OTE of £48k, which is uncapped.


Working hours: 5 days a week including weekends, with 2 days off during the week (Monday to Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-4pm).


The dealership has high footfall generated by our inbound and outbound telesales team and our online platform. With approximately 100 vehicles on site, we seek motivated individuals who can close sales effectively.


This role is ideal for a Senior Car Sales Executive aiming to step into a Sales Controller position, with responsibilities including supporting the Sales Manager and handling customer interactions.

The Role:
  1. Supporting and filling in for the Sales Manager when required.
  2. Being the main point of contact for customers in the showroom, providing excellent customer service.
  3. Understanding customer requirements and qualifying their needs.
  4. Arranging test drives.
  5. Selling value-added products.
  6. Driving the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
  7. Achieving personal monthly sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience in high-volume car sales.
  • Driven, passionate, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • FCA accreditation (post-training).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Presentable and professional appearance.
