About the Role

Grade Level (for internal use): 11

The Senior Sales Executive, within the EMEA Automotive Sales Original Equipment Suppliers (OES) team, will execute against sales goals, including accurate forecasting and revenue attainment. This includes qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, identifying customer needs/challenges, delivering S&P Global Mobility's point of view, delivering solution presentations to new customers, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, closing business in a timely manner, and fully comprehending the S&P Global Mobility value proposition.

The Team

EMEA New Business Development team is mainly focused on maximizing profitable company sales revenue through new business from mainly new logos and existing accounts within EMEA.

Responsibilities
  • The Senior Sales Executive will execute against sales goals, including accurate forecasting and revenue attainment, qualifying/disqualifying opportunities, identifying customer needs, delivering dialogue and solution presentations, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and understanding the S&P Global Mobility value proposition.
  • Own a specific set of named accounts within the EMEA Automotive sales region and be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying revenue drivers and metrics for market expansion.
  • Build a strong network with key decision makers to expand relationships and create opportunities for sales of products, services, and consulting engagements.
  • Monitor performance-to-plan and adjust direction and sales initiatives to penetrate the market.
  • Create and manage the sales pipeline in SalesForce within the assigned territory, generating leads from face-to-face needs discovery calls and inbound leads from marketing, events, and other sources.
  • Provide monthly forecasts based on opportunities in the pipeline with 95% accuracy to create visibility on revenue trends and actions to drive revenues to plan.
  • Understand the product sales cycle and competitive strategies to refine sales approaches.
What We’re Looking For
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in selling complex enterprise solutions to automotive suppliers in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing large and complex sales while building strong client relationships.
  • Proven ability to uncover needs and buying processes at private and multinational companies.
  • Skilled in consultative and value selling with a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies for revenue growth that leverage partnerships and other relationships creatively to compete in markets.
