Senior Sales Executive

Location: You will be based at our office in Chelmsford (CM2 5LB) and visit client sites in and around London.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Contract: Full-time, permanent.

About the role:

The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to engage all key stakeholders and advance opportunities to the final stages of the sales process. This role emphasizes building and nurturing relationships for high-value deals over a long-term sales cycle, particularly within the construction market. Familiarity with complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and experience in similar environments are essential.

You should be adept at asking insightful questions to understand client pain points, driven by a desire to identify opportunities and secure orders. The role requires strategic planning, proposal presentation, and excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships. Operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic are crucial.

  1. Proven experience in consultative, long-cycle sales, preferably in construction, facades, or related industries.
  2. Excellent relationship-building skills and a broad network, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, including board-level conversations.
  3. A strategic thinker with the ability to influence complex decision-making processes.
  4. Experience in identifying and engaging key decision-makers early in projects.
  5. Ability to nurture and convert high-value deals with industry leaders.
  6. A natural relationship builder who can challenge, influence, and add value to clients.
  7. Comfortable working in the field and collaborating at the Head Office as needed.
