About the role

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for the identification, qualification, and development of new sales opportunities and new customer accounts. They may also take full or partial responsibility for existing accounts.

The role will be a pivotal function in the Sales team, involving close collaboration with Marketing, Contracts, Finance, and Operations teams to strengthen and accelerate the pipeline of new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business:
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Profile accounts to determine fit with TRI’s targeting criteria, value proposition, and solutions.
  • Identify and contact key personnel within target accounts through email, social media, and telephone.
  • Qualify target accounts by engaging with key personnel to understand their current position, capabilities, and needs.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to understand and promote TRI’s marketing messages.
  • Ensure all leads generated are promptly and effectively followed up to maintain momentum.

  • Salary: up to £90,000 + OTE, depending on experience.

Your Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven high-level sales experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Experience selling technology to pharma, biotech, and CRO sectors preferred.
  • University degree (or equivalent), preferably in a technical or scientific field.
  • Track record of lead generation and account development within biotech/pharma sectors.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally.
  • Knowledge of drug development and approval processes.
