Senior Sales Engineer (Public Sector)

Responsibilities

1. Gain understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needs.
2. Provide primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions.
3. Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
4. Coach, review, and delegate work to lower level professionals.
5. Provide solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
6. Regularly provide insight into complex issues and for complex department questions.
7. Set or participate in department goal setting.

Qualifications

1. Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions.
2. Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.
3. May possess a four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
4. Has advanced technical knowledge and some knowledge in related disciplines.
