What You’ll Do

  • Be the technical voice of our sales team: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, presentations, and customer workshops.
  • Inspire confidence: Build trust with prospects and customers by addressing technical challenges and presenting solutions with clarity and insight.
  • Design smart solutions: Craft high-level implementation plans and guide Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects to success.
  • Collaborate across the business: Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, Service Delivery, and Channel Partners to support revenue growth.
  • Lead from the front: Represent Mimecast at industry events and evangelize our platform to technical and executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record in technical pre-sales or solution engineering, ideally in a SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
  • Strong experience in endpoint software and enterprise sales support.
  • Confidence working with C-level stakeholders and enterprise customers.
  • Knowledge of vendors and solutions like ProofPoint, Barracuda, Forefront, Symantec EV, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset, and the flexibility to work in a fast-moving, evolving business.
  • Bonus points for experience in project management, channel/partner sales, or consultative selling.

The OTE salary range for this position is £112,000- £168,000 + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
