Over the past three years, we’ve built the technology, processes, and operational infrastructure to enable scalable growth. Now, with proven traction and repeatable results, we are entering a pivotal phase: expanding into new markets, accelerating deal flow, and professionalising our commercial engine.

The opportunity is huge. The UK residential market sees over £1 trillion in housing stock transact each year—much of it sold sub-optimally due to misaligned agency incentives, poor presentation, or rushed sales processes. Flyp exists to change that. By combining renovation, rental yield generation, and agent matchmaking under one roof, we offer homeowners a new kind of sales journey—smarter, more flexible, and ultimately more profitable.

To help us scale this vision, we’re looking for a Sales Director to take full ownership of the sales function—currently led by the founders and supported by a small but capable team.

The Role

This is not a clean-slate build, but it is very much a hands-on leadership role. We have warm inbound leads, strong brand positioning, and a small team in place—but need a senior commercial operator who can sharpen the process, improve consistency, and scale conversion.

In the early stages, you'll be leading from the front: converting leads yourself, testing messaging and pricing, refining our pitch, and building the foundations for a high-performance sales engine. Once the process is proven and repeatable, you'll take the reins growing the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise the full sales funnel – across Flyp’s three core products: Transformations (renovation), Rentals, and Marketplace (multi-agent sales platform).
  • Lead by example – convert leads, refine our positioning, and prove the sales playbook before building out the team.
  • Grow and manage the team – support the current team, set clear KPIs, and bring in additional hires as growth justifies.
  • Simplify and scale – streamline workflows, introduce automation, and build the infrastructure needed for national expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally – collaborate with marketing, ops, product, and finance to align commercial efforts with company-wide objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in scaling a sales function—ideally in PropTech, marketplaces, or consumer-facing scale-ups.
  • Deep love of residential property – you live and breathe residential real estate, understand what drives seller psychology, and are fluent in the nuances of the space.
  • Hands-on operator – you're ready to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front.
  • Commercially sharp and data-literate – able to identify patterns, test hypotheses, and make strategic decisions quickly.
  • Process- and performance-driven – able to build and implement structured, scalable sales systems.
  • Inspirational leader and coach – experienced in managing and motivating salespeople, but comfortable doing the work yourself early on.
