Are you a senior commercial leader with a strong background in the defence and security sector? Do you understand the intricacies of UK MoD procurement, have established relationships within military and government circles, and a passion for shaping and growing a business? This opportunity could be for you.

We’re partnering with a well-established and fast-growing defence technology business supporting public sector frameworks and high-priority national security projects across the UK. With a strong foundation and reputation for delivering credible, technically sound tactical solutions, the company is now looking for a Sales Director to help accelerate its growth phase.

? What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and develop a team of subject matter experts and business developers
  • Drive and manage public sector framework bids, tender capture, and strategic sales efforts
  • Influence stakeholders across MOD, DE&S, STRATCOM, UKSF and related authorities
  • Analyse sector trends and shape commercial strategy
  • Collaborate with UK and international teams to identify and develop new business opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial role within the UK defence sector
  • In-depth knowledge of MOD procurement processes and tendering
  • Strong relationships with UK military/government stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset with the drive to grow, shape, and lead a high-impact team
  • Confident, credible communicator and leader
  • Willing and able to be onsite in Hereford 3 days per week (hybrid working)
