Job Description:

We do require experience within the catering equipment, foodservice, or hospitality design industry for this role.

Are you a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for designing innovative commercial kitchens and hospitality spaces? We’re seeking a talented Senior Sales Designer to join our team and contribute to our continued success!

This is a customer-facing and sales oriented role, where you’ll be involved in leading client briefings and scoping meetings. You might work alongside our existing Sales team, or become the sales-lead, with the opportunity to earn commission and grow your own client-base.

As Senior Sales Designer, you’ll ensure that the clients vision is developed into the award-winning and exceptional hospitality designs that TAG is renowned for. You’ll also be involved in the specifying of equipment and presentation of the finished designs to the clients projects team.

You’ll get to work on a variety of projects, from one-off installations to large-scale fit-outs, ensuring that each design meets the highest standards of functionality and aesthetics. This role will give you the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s most famous venues and hospitality groups.

Regardless of experience level, you’ll benefit from a hybrid working environment, commission plus other incentives.

This is your chance to be part of a growing company with a reputation for delivering some of the UK’s most desirable and efficient commercial kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Expertise: Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD or Revit for commercial kitchen and bar projects.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions, including leading client scoping meetings.
  • Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys and produce accurate construction drawings for manufacture.
  • Project Management: Manage design projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Sales Process: As experience grows, you’ll handle the entire sales and design process, earning commission on projects delivered.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in design technology to incorporate innovative solutions into your projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales support, project management, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of projects.

The Fit:

  • Proven experience in design, in the catering equipment or foodservice industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (full Revit training given).
  • Strong understanding of commercial kitchen ergonomics and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This role also offers a bonus/commission structure, hybrid and flexible working, a car allowance, paid-for travel, a wellbeing Employee Assistance Programme, company pension & life insurance, competitive holiday allowance including Bank Holidays, regular team lunches and events, and the opportunity to dine for free at our project sites including fine-dining restaurants and 5* hotels.
