Job summary

Heron Foods is hiring a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant in Cotgrave, Nottingham. You will support a busy team, foster leadership on the shop floor, and ensure excellent customer service during 16 hours per week.

You may take on keyholder duties and assist with stock deliveries and store presentation. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for development through training programs and staff perks such as discounts and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to motivate a team.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Part-Time Sales Assistant, you'll take on a key leadership role to keep the store running smoothly and successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving queries effectively.
• Maintaining an impeccable store presentation with well-stocked and tidy shelves.
• Assisting with stock management and overseeing deliveries.
• Acting as a keyholder and taking responsibility for the store in the absence of management (including store openings and closes).
