Salary Range: £35,000-45,000 p.a dependant on experience

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales and Event Manager to lead our team and continue our success in selling & delivering creative, high-quality events across London and the UK. Our clients include arts, fashion, media, and blue-chip companies, as well as private events.

The Fendale Group, based in London, comprises a collection of catering brands dedicated to exceptional food and hospitality experiences. We focus on creativity, quality, and meaningful connections, designing food experiences for various settings, from intimate dinners to large-scale brand events.

Our brands—Caiger & Co., Archies & Spoilt for Choice—bring unique flavors and focuses, all supported by a team with industry expertise and a passion for quality.

We view hospitality as a platform for connection, creativity, and change, supported by community initiatives like Plate for Change and Pillars, a commitment to sustainability, and a culture of collaboration. We are on a growth trajectory and looking for an ambitious individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales of £1.5m annually.

The ideal candidate will have excellent influencing, closing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders internally and externally. Responsibilities include maintaining existing client relationships, developing new opportunities, and working closely with marketing to align sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and growth
  • Build and nurture client relationships
  • Leverage personal contacts to expand the client base
  • Coordinate with marketing for sales and promotional activities
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Provide sales reports and updates to management

Key Tasks:

  • Handle inbound inquiries for Archies & Caiger & Co.
  • Proactively seek venue catering opportunities
  • Develop and execute a Sales Plan to increase brand awareness and sales
  • Attend networking events to build industry and client networks
  • Hold weekly sales meetings with the Head of Events and General Manager
  • Identify and manage new venue opportunities and tenders

Experience & Skills:

  • Self-motivated with initiative and teamwork skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in catering, hospitality, or venue tendering
  • Client and staff relationship management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM systems like Pipedrive
  • Background in sales and marketing within events and hospitality
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Key Results & Objectives:

  • Achieve sales targets and budget
  • Manage a turnover of at least £1.5m
