This vacancy is for an Application Sales Representative / Sales Account Director focused on Enterprise Banking Application Sales at Oracle - FSGBU (Financial Services Global Business Unit).

What You’ll Do

Be a key part of connecting us to millions of businesses that need our help to evolve.

This role requires a seasoned banking software sales professional to position and sell licenses for Oracle’s core banking, digital banking, payments, and mid-office solutions across retail, corporate banking, Microfinance, and Financial Inclusion segments.

The territory includes financial services accounts within the UK & Switzerland.

Primary objectives:

  • Achieve revenue targets for licenses across banking solutions in the territory, selling to existing and new customers.
  • Build relationships and establish a foundation for license purchases.
  • Position solutions at “C” level at business, IT, and operational levels.
  • Develop active engagement models with clients.
  • Create tailored transformation cases and solution proposals with business cases.
  • Manage sales pipeline using Oracle Sales Cloud (Fusion) CRM, with regular updates, accurate forecasting, and structured deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to grow license revenue and expand customer base.

Required Skills/Experience

What You’ll Bring

Enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity are key. Additional requirements include:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in banking software sales, with expertise in core & digital banking applications like Finacle Edgeverve, Temenos, FIS, Fiserv, Misys/Finastra, TCS, Mambu, Thought Machine, or similar.
  • Experience managing investment initiatives of $2M+ including business case development, solution scope, and implementation planning.
  • Deep knowledge of the banking industry in the defined territory.
  • Self-starter with strong sales and business development skills.
  • Experience managing strategic sales cycles with solution selling.
  • Established relationships with CXOs in local banks.
  • Knowledge of finance fundamentals, banking products, and operations.
  • Ability to provide insights on emerging banking trends related to risk management and compliance.
  • Proven network of executive contacts in banking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Partner management experience is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, needs analysis, and business justification abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally.
