Job summary

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an experienced Safety and Risk Manager to lead our health and safety function and oversee organisational risk management and business continuity. The role is based at Service Headquarters, Shrewsbury with on-site parking and a permanent, full-time contract.

You will hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and be a Chartered Member of IOSH, or working towards chartered status, to provide expert advice, support and assurance for legal compliance and

• Provide expert advice, support and assurance to help legal compliance, strengthen organisational resilience and embed a positive safety and risk culture.
