Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking Safety Engineers in the United Kingdom to help develop and integrate safe, certifiable systems for next-generation combat air capabilities. You will work with systems, software and platform engineering teams to embed safety throughout the lifecycle, supporting evidence-driven safety cases and certification processes.

The role focuses on safety assessment, artefacts, hazard analysis, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver compliant, high-assurance aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace/defence or highly regulated industries is desirable.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer/partner locations.

We are seeking Safety Engineers to support the safe development and integration of future combat air capabilities for the next generation of combat aircraft.

You will work closely with systems, software and platform engineering teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout the engineering lifecycle, supporting the delivery of safe, certifiable and operationally effective systems.

This role offers an opportunity to influence future combat air capability through the development, integration and optimisation of advanced sensing architectures, supporting delivery across the full engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Applications are also welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.
