Job summary

NUVIA, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, is seeking motivated safety professionals to deliver independent safety assessments for a wide range of nuclear facilities and operations. You will report to a Managing Consultant, with development and delivery support from Principal Safety Case Consultants.

This role requires Chartered status or progress toward chartership, strong writing of safety justifications and risk assessments, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with effective

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a scientific, technical or engineering subject, or equivalent experience.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership in a relevant field.
• Author of safety justifications, safety assessment or safety case reports.
• Independent practitioner of hazard identification and safety assessment techniques.
• Understanding of safety cases, risk and reliability.
• Proficient in writing precise safety requirements.

Responsibilities

You will report to a Managing Consultant, with development and project delivery support also provided by Principal Safety Case Consultants. We are looking for motivated individuals who wish to gain responsibility for their own independent delivery, while benefiting from the development and advancement opportunities of working in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

Essential

• Degree qualified in a scientific, technical or engineering subject, or equivalent experience,
• Chartered status with a professional institution in a relevant field, or working towards chartership, Previous industry experience in Safety Case working in a highly regulated industry,
• Author of safety justifications, safety assessment reports or safety case reports subject to rigorous quality assurance standards,
• Independent practitioner of several hazard identification and safety assessment techniques
• Understanding of the purpose and content of safety cases,Quantitative understanding of risk and reliability,
• Proficient in writing precise safety requirements or safety functional requirements.
