Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking a Senior Safety Adviser to join the Corporate Health & Safety Team. You will provide expert consultancy on health and safety standards and practices across the Council, helping to create a safer and compliant environment for staff and residents.

The role encompasses policy development, incident data management, investigations, reporting, and delivering safety training while promoting a positive safety culture.

This is a 29 hours 36 minutes per week position (0.8 Full Time Equivalent), working pattern open for discussion and the salary is £42,123 to £48,738 pro-rata per annum.

Closing date for the role will be Wednesday 7th October, interviews will take place Thursday 15th October at Number One Riverside, Rochdale.
