Job summary
GenesisCare UK is seeking a Senior SACT Nurse to join our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Windsor. You will deliver chemotherapy nursing services, deputise for the line manager, and lead in conducting nurse-led clinics and autonomous patient care planning.
The role requires advanced venous access skills and experience in oncology nursing. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality cancer care, work within a supportive team, and advance your clinical leadership
Qualifications
- Registered nursing with oncology focus and post-registration experience.
- Trained in venepuncture and cannulations; willingness to train towards chemotherapy qualification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver chemotherapy nursing services to patients within the unit and deputise for line manager when required.
- Provide specialist nursing advice to patients and families and coordinate care across the team.
- Manage a patient caseload and liaise with medical consultants.
- Order diagnostic tests within defined parameters and run nurse-led clinics.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in venous access, central venous catheters, venepuncture and chemotherapy delivery, including anaphylaxis management.
