Description
We are looking for an outstandingly talented, analytical, driven, experienced Senior S&OP Analyst that can drive improvement initiatives at both strategic and operational levels.
You will join the Continental Europe Supply Chain Operations (CEU SCO) team, that owns the planning and the execution of volumes flowing through Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers (FC). CEU SCO orchestrates FC Operations, Transportation, Finance and Amazon Store partners, in order to exceed customer expectations while optimizing end-to-end supply chain speed and cost.
You will be in charge of forecasting weekly arrivals of the Box-Level-Placement (BLP) flow. Your scope will encompass Amazon facilities within the First Mile (Fulfillment Centers) and the Middle Mile (Sort Centers) networks, located across Europe (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES).
As a key member of the EU SCO, you will pursue placement improvement, cost optimization and overall network efficiency. You will coordinate across multiple business units including FBA Operations, CF Operations, ATS Operations, and Inbound & Placement Operations to develop and execute plans, implement new decision-making frameworks (playbooks) and improve operational excellence.
This is a highly visible position, based out of our European headquarters in Luxembourg, critical to the company's operations and forward capability as we continue the fast-paced growth and scale-up of our fulfillment network.
Key job responsibilities
Weekly Network Planning & Forecasting:
Partner with FBA Operations to establish 16-week rolling network forecasts for EU BLP arrivals
Split weekly network arrivals by first inbound nodes
Forecast weekly transfer out of Sort Centers, based on agreed sites’ capacity and placement ideal recommendations
Volume & Capacity Management:
Manage volume distribution across the network, coordinating with operational partners on playbook levers required to adjust volume to capacity
Communicate and follow through execution of playbook levers
Structure the process to align forward looking capacity plans with Sort Centers, and implement standard reporting of projected BLP backlogs in those sites
Performance Management:
Strategic Planning & Process Improvement:
Own quarterly EU S&OP BLP strategy, driving consensus across relevant partners and contributing to definition of quarterly BLP topology
Support initiatives to support BLP program’s growth (eligibility increase) and to address operational defects (misdelivery reduction)
Partner with Long-Term Planning to ensure alignment of BLP strategy with overall Inbound strategy across First and Middle Mile
Coordinate development of BLP playbook across operational and finance partners
Basic Qualifications
Experience in planning, forecasting and/or Supply Chain and/or project management
Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
Organized, detail-oriented self-starter and a quick learner
Inner drive for continuous improvement, desire to create and build new processes
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects related work in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders at different levels and with different backgrounds
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL / Python / any data analytics tools
Master's Degree from an accredited university
