Job description

We are working with a respected and well-established property consultancy to recruit a Senior Rural Surveyor for their Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rural surveyor looking for a varied and high-profile workload, flexible working, and a clear route to progression.

The Role

You will be joining a successful rural team and taking on a diverse portfolio of work across the West Midlands. This includes:

  • Estate and asset management for private and institutional clients
  • Rural valuations (Red Book compliant)
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Strategic land advice and development opportunities
  • Compensation, utilities, and access negotiations
  • Diversification and rural business consultancy

You will be client-facing from day one, managing relationships and delivering high-quality advice with the backing of a well-resourced and supportive team.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

  • MRICS qualified with experience in rural surveying or estate management
  • Commercially aware, with strong communication and client management skills
  • Motivated and professional, with a proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence holder
