Our Physiotherapy Department is a dynamic, friendly and cohesive department. The Older Persons Rehab team have a wide, varied and busy, multi pathology caseload of predominately acute and post-acute rehabilitation, as well as managing patients on our frailty pathway. The team works closely with all members of the MDT allowing specialised and individual team goal setting for patients.
We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic physiotherapist with a particular interest in elderly rehabilitation for a full time position. You must have experience within the NHS, preferably within an acute hospital setting.
There is a requirement for flexible working as the service currently works over 7 days working week including bank holidays using a rostered system.
Excellent team working, communication and innovation are essential within this busy, dynamic department.
To provide physiotherapy to relevant patients within clinical specialty area, in a range of settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient homes.

To assess and treat patient’s in relevant rotational area. To support the team in the organisation and provision of an efficient, high quality and co-ordinated physiotherapy service for patients in each area. To undertake a defined clinical caseload. To ensure that patient and service standards and priorities are met. To provide clinical supervision to assigned junior physiotherapists, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants and students.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
