Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist

The Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department is passionate about developing an excellent clinical pharmacy service and is looking for enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated pharmacists to join our team.

Working in the Royal Berkshire Pharmacy department, you will have the opportunity to rotate across various specialties, engaging with multidisciplinary clinical teams to make a meaningful difference.

Main duties of the job

As a band 7 rotational clinical pharmacist, you will be part of the pharmacy clinical ward team, helping to deliver high-quality specialist services to patients and the multidisciplinary team (MDT). We will support your development in leadership and mentoring skills, with opportunities to line manage pharmacists.

Each post has an extended 1-year rotation, including management and project opportunities in areas such as Gastroenterology, Renal, ICU, Admissions, Pediatrics, Surgery, Care of the Elderly, Education, and Training.

The Pharmacist is responsible for the professional aspects of the day-to-day pharmaceutical service provided by the Trust. They will work closely with the pharmacy team to provide clinical pharmacy services to wards and assist in developing pharmaceutical services.
