Job summary

A leading childcare provider in Harlow is looking for a Senior Room Leader to guide and support the team. This role requires a Level 3 Childcare qualification and prior experience in a senior capacity. You will manage a team of practitioners while ensuring the developmental needs of children are met. Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification.

Are you a Senior Room Leader? Great! We are looking to bring on board a childcare professional at our Busy Bees Harlow Nursery.

As a Senior Room Leader with us, you will guide and support the team by role modelling your knowledge and best practice. In this role, you may wish to enrol on a Management Qualification with our very own in-house training academy to develop your leadership skills and potentially achieve a promotion!

As a Senior Room Leader, we offer a salary of £28,000 per annum (£13.50 per hour), plus you will also be entitled to:

Some of the things you will do as a Senior Room Manager at Busy Bees:

• Be the 3rd in charge at the nursery, working closely with the nursery management team
• As a keyworker, ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
• Take ownership of observations, assessments, and planning for your key children in line with EYFS, providing developmentally challenging next steps, and supporting the staff team.
• Encourage and praise children’s development and achievements while guiding, coaching, and managing our team of practitioners.
• And most of all…have FUN!

To apply for a qualified role, you must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
