Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Project Manager for a world-leading Rocket Propulsion Technology organisation. You will lead the direction, planning and execution of projects across production, development or research, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing customer relationships.

The role requires knowledge of the defence industry and hands-on experience with project management tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project. Strong communication skills and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or industry-related qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in defence industry.
• Experience managing engineering-focused projects.
• Experience planning, managing and delivering production, development or technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain and deliver project plans for bids and contracted work.
• Define, execute and control project plans for development, production or research.
• Improve project value and margins through proactive risk management.
• Report project status to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Lead cross-functional team members and manage their performance.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and maintain relationships.
• Authorize project documents per approved signatories.
