Are you ready to use cutting-edge robotics and software to revolutionise the future of personalised medicine and make life-saving therapies accessible to all?
At Cellular Origins, we're on a mission to accelerate the adoption of cell and gene therapies – treatments transforming the fight against incurable diseases like cancer. We’re achieving this by bringing advanced automation, previously unseen in this field, to manufacturing.
As a Senior Robotic Software Engineer, you will lead system design, testing, and delivery, working closely with the Robotics Team to develop advanced robotic subsystems from initial design to integration within the Constellation platform. This involves shaping the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, architecture, prototyping, implementation, testing, and timeline management. You will collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of robotic software with the overall platform, covering both software and electro-mechanical components.
Your expertise will be essential in developing high-performance control systems for Integrated Mobile Robots (IMRs), combining 6-DoF robotic arms and AMRs, with machine vision systems, leveraging industry standards like ROS2 and protocols such as MQTT to create reliable, adaptable robotic solutions. Your contributions will directly support scalable, cost-effective, and space-efficient manufacturing of vital therapies.
This role is a full-time on-site position at our campus in Melbourn.
