Job summary

Nottingham City Council invites applications for a Senior Officer - Road Safety in Loxley House, Nottingham. The role analyses data to develop highway improvements and collaborates with teams across the Council to deliver innovative road safety schemes.

You will also act as an experienced Road Safety Auditor to ensure highway works, including developer schemes, are as safe as possible. The role requires knowledge of highway legislation, data analysis and project management.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking Road Safety Audits, as a member or lead.
• Knowledge of relevant highway legislation and road safety techniques.
• Data analysis, finance and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data to develop highway improvements to improve road safety and manage delivery of schemes.
• Provide support and advice to colleagues, councillors, partners and the public.
