We're looking for a Senior Risk Modelling Analyst to join a high-impact asset risk team, supporting the modelling of economic capital and portfolio risk activity within an evolving financial landscape. You'll report into the Portfolio Risk Manager and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insight and steer strategic decision-making. This Senior Risk Modelling Analyst role is ideal for someone with strong modelling experience and a background in credit and operational risk.

What you'll be doing

You'll be hands-on with the numbers, models and data that shape how risk is understood across the business. You'll take the lead on economic capital modelling looking at updating assumptions, running forecasts, and making sure everything lines up with internal governance and external benchmarks. You'll work across credit, operational, insurance, treasury and climate risk, turning complex model outputs into clear insights that help senior leaders make smart decisions. You'll be the bridge between technical modelling and commercial outcomes. You'll also get stuck into portfolio risk work by spotting trends, identifying gaps, and helping the business challenge its view of risk. You'll collaborate with third parties, coach colleagues, and support wider strategic projects, including the shift to electric vehicles.

What experience you'll need to apply
  • Strong modelling experience and a background in credit and operational risk
  • Strong technical skills in Python, MATLAB or R
  • Proven experience in credit and operational risk
  • Experience building and enhancing capital models
