Job summary

ADLIB is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a passion for building risk models. The role centers on developing risk models from scratch, forecasting, and communicating results to leadership.

You will join a Risk Modelling Team, collaborating across functions in a matrixed environment and applying techniques to insurance, pricing, climate, asset and credit risk. You’ll be based in the London office three days a week with flexible remote work for the rest.

Qualifications

• Strong background in risk modelling and using insights to inform business decisions.
• Experience building risk models from scratch and enhancing existing ones.
• Excellent skills in R, Python, or SAS.
• Experience leading complex model updates with clear communication of outcomes.
• Ability to present to stakeholders and translate risk issues into business applications.
• Exposure to multiple risk types (insurance, pricing, climate, asset, credit, etc.).
• Knowledge of model risk management.
• Experience working outside regulated risk environments.
• Desirable: Finance industry experience and exposure to ML/predictive modelling.

Responsibilities
