Job summary

CRISIL Limited is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to strengthen its risk management framework for UCITS and AIF funds. You will oversee market, liquidity and investment risk, ensuring regulatory compliance and independent risk oversight across asset management activities.

In this role, you will monitor risk exposures, conduct stress testing, and prepare reports for senior management and regulators. Collaboration with Compliance, Operations, Investment and Product teams will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of asset management risk management experience, preferably UCITS/AIF environments.
• Strong knowledge of UCITS Directive, AIFMD, ESMA guidelines, and European fund regulations.
• Experience in market risk, liquidity risk, and investment risk methodologies.
• Proficiency with risk analytics tools and portfolio risk reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as FRM, CFA, or PRM are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the risk management framework under UCITS and AIFMD.
• Monitor and assess market, liquidity, counterparty, concentration, leverage, and operational risks.
• Oversee risk oversight of portfolios and ensure compliance with fund mandates and regulatory limits.
• Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and liquidity risk assessments.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management, boards, regulators, and governance committees.
• Support regulatory filings, audits, and risk inquiries from regulators and investors.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Investment and Product teams on new funds.
• Monitor regulatory developments and recommend risk policy improvements.
