Job summary

Job Title: Senior Risk Manager - London Hybrid
Location: Kings Cross, London - 3 days per week
Salary/Rate: Up to £570 a day inside IR35
Start Date: August 2025
Job Type: 6-month contract

Company Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our client, a global organisation in the IT Services and IT consulting industry.

You will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of supplier risk management programs within the organisation and for our customers.

This position is suited to an individual who can collaborate with the company and customer teams to develop risk management strategies, work with suppliers to ensure compliance, and engage with customer stakeholders to build a culture of resilience.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, motivated, and have a clear passion for supplier risk management. Prior experience in third-party risk management is desired. We are looking for someone who also has an interest in and understanding of the evolving technology landscape and its potential to further enable the supply chain agenda.

*The successful candidate for this role must be comfortable working in the London office 3 days a week, as well as being comfortable travelling to the Netherlands every couple of months*

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Supplier Risk Management Insight:Provide market insight and examples of best practices on how to integrate supplier risk management controls into the organisations sourcing processes, supplier selection, and contractual discussions.
  • Supplier Risk Methodology: Support in the development and implementation of the supplier risk management framework methodology and other key governance documents, such as the? Due Diligence Policy. Look to embed a continuous improvement approach which aligns to the organisations risk appetite.
  • Supplier Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive supplier risk assessments using a variety of internal and external tools across the supplier lifecycle (onboarding to termination). Support in the creation of a risk classification and risk scorecard methodology and the management of third-party tools and assessment outputs.
  • Ongoing Risk Monitoring:Monitor emerging threats and market trends to proactively address potential risks using in-house and external tools. Create Risk Alerts to notify impacted audiences and report via governance forums on the impact of the risk to LBPS / customers.
  • Industry Engagement & Profile Management: Connect with key industry networks to gather and share best practices, build the LBPS network and increase our profile within the sector. Active participation in industry forums, conferences, and working groups to stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations. Compile and report on our achievements, ensuring that our successes are communicated effectively both internally and externally.
  • Data & Analytics: Use, develop and maintain data management tools and systems to ensure accurate and efficient data processing. Manage the quality of data and conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights and prepare detailed reports or visualisations to support decision-making.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience working in procurement risk management, preferably within the procurement and supply chain domain and from either a blue-chip in-house procurement team or a consulting / professional services organisation.
  • Strong understanding of supplier risk management principles, including EU regulations and relevant certification schemes.
  • Excellent communication skills to inspire and drive progress with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to operate basic software such as PowerPoint, Visio and Excel to a high level.
