We're looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join our Natural Resources team, within a travelling distance to Falmer. In this role, you'll be managing risk for our 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Location: Hybrid working, split between the Falmer office, home, sites, and offices across the region.

Hours: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the client to ensure their needs are met.
• Implement a standardised approach to risk management across the Framework to create efficiencies between projects and portfolios.
• Facilitate risk workshops and meetings, engaging with project teams to ensure effective risk management.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and the supply chain to identify risks early, assign responsibilities, and track these throughout the framework, programme, and project lifecycle through mitigation plans considering intelligent risk management.
• Identify, consolidate, and manage key risks through a combined Risk & Opportunity (R&O) register.

What are we looking for?

This Senior Risk Manager role is ideal if you:

• Are a senior specialist overseeing significant parts of Risk Management within PMO.
• Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) with proven experience in regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector.
• Have proven senior management experience and in-depth knowledge of the sector.
• Possess excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness.
