Job summary

The Travelers in London seeks a Senior Risk Management Consultant to support the Professions portfolio, advising on risk management and regulatory issues while collaborating with underwriters to mitigate exposures.

You will engage with insured firms, present at client risk seminars, and develop risk materials for internal and external audiences. Hybrid work arrangement applies, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or CII Certification.
• Working knowledge of insurance/underwriting.
• Knowledge of regulatory rules, policies and procedures in day-to-day work.
• Strong analytical thinking and financial acumen.
• Regulatory compliance awareness and ability to apply it.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Travelers risk management proposition across the Professions portfolio and advises customers on risk management issues.
• Coordinates visit requests from underwriters and contacts insureds and brokers for high-premium cases.
• Prepares reports on current risk exposure and claims history with recommendations to reduce risk.
• Researches and prepares materials for internal/external publications and seminars.
• Assists underwriters with guidance on legal or professional practice issues.
