Job summary

Synechron in the United Kingdom seeks a senior risk professional to shape governance frameworks for Product Control, Valuation Control and Information Security within ISG. You will drive risk management activities and partner with senior Finance leaders to deliver practical controls.

The role offers broad exposure across core Finance functions, requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills, and invites initiative and independent work across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services, ideally with advanced knowledge of product and or valuation control process and controls
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to distil complex issues into clear insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Initiative, independence, and strong time management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with tools like Power BI or Alteryx is a bonus
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead key risk processes across product control evaluation control functions within finance including RCSA, business continuity information security and compliance activities
• Own and high impact initiatives, leveraging deep finance expertise
• Oversee team members preparation of risk reports and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders within finance across the firm
• Supervisor reporting of risk incidents within an ISG product control evaluation control and perform thematic analysis to identify trains and recommend solutions
• Drive issue resolution and action planning within the Firm's risk inventory, with a focus on ISG Product Control and Valuation control processes and controls
• Identify emerging non-financial risks and assist senior management in developing mitigation strategies
• Maintain risk policies, procedures and information security protocols
• Champion the firms values in foster culture of accountability.
