We currently have an exciting opportunity for a risk professional to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Business Services team within COO on a permanent basis in London.

As Senior Risk and Resilience Analyst, you will deliver high quality day to day risk, control and resilience processes as well as risk and resilience reporting. You will also support the team to coordinate AAF activity where required.

Working alongside a wider team, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop into a proactive business partner, working independently to move the COO and wider firm's capabilities forward, on a strategic level.

About the role

  • Use the Archer risk management system to report emerging risks, controls, indicators, and events, ensuring alignment with risk appetite.
  • Support the COO Function Business Services team (1L Assurance) in maintaining a comprehensive risk and control profile.
  • Produce management information to monitor actions, procedures, control maturity, and policy compliance.
  • Develop and build tools and processes to enhance visibility of risks, control performance, and RLAM's resilience posture.
  • Assist in business resilience efforts, including MI reporting, BC plan updates, and scenario testing.
  • Maintain and mature resilience process mapping for RLAM's Important Business Services (IBS).
  • Oversee system access and staff movement reporting to ensure appropriate controls.
  • Coordinate AAF activities and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement and collaborate across COO Business Services to support the Centre of Excellence vision.

About you

  • Basic understanding of risk management and regulated, control-focused environments.
  • Awareness of operational resilience, including business continuity and incident management.
  • Interest in asset management and broad exposure to RLAM's COO Function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with the ability to grasp complex information.
  • Good analytical skills; proficient in Excel, basic Power BI knowledge, and eager to learn M365 Power Platform tools.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and professionally.
  • Effective team player and independent worker, with a service-led, proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Positive attitude toward change and confident in suggesting improvements.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines with a structured, solutions-focused approach.
