Job summary

Hamilton in London seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to support the ongoing implementation of the risk management framework and embed a strong risk culture across the business. The role collaborates with teams internationally as the company grows its Lloyd's and Company operations.

You will help manage risk events, monitor appetite, and develop key risk metrics, while supporting board and regulatory reporting and staff training on risk practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar risk management role.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and Lloyd's market.
• Motivated, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook and Excel.
• Clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Autonomous with strong organisational skills and planning.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing Hamilton's risk management framework.
• Facilitate risk and control assessments for emerging risks.
• Liaise with stakeholders for risk appetite monitoring.
• Capture risk events and near-misses; investigate root causes and actions.
• Track risk management actions to completion.
• Develop and maintain key risk metrics.
• Contribute to risk reports for the Board and Risk Committee.
• Support the production of annual ORSAs for committees and supervisors.
• Provide training to promote a strong risk culture.
• Build relationships with departments, auditors and third parties.
