Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialist clinical pharmacy experience in rheumatology.
• Prescriber status or progression towards independent prescribing.
• Ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the Rheumatology service.
• Lead and develop the rheumatology pharmacy service within the MEC Division.
• Provide highly specialised pharmaceutical advice in all matters.
• Monitor and advise on drug expenditure, including high-cost biologics and biosimilars.
• Assist in policy development, guidelines and quality improvement projects.
