Teledyne Microwave UK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the software team developing systems software for military radar ESM receivers. You will own software projects end-to-end, design and develop solutions, test with RF equipment and collaborate with hardware/firmware engineers.

International travel for installation/training may be required, reporting to the Software Engineering Group Lead. Experience in C++/C#, Windows services, OpenGL, SQL, and data analysis is essential, with a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Physics, Maths, or Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Master’s degree or better would be advantageous.
• Significant relevant experience in lieu of qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the assigned software projects and report on development status.
• Capture requirements from internal and external customers.
• Design and develop software solutions for in-house & external projects.
• Test and verify the system and software using RF test equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to meet customer needs.
• Diagnose software problems and implement solutions as required.
• Suggest and introduce new technologies to improve productivity and reliability.
