CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer II to perform complex mixed‑signal PCB layout in Altium Designer for aerospace applications. You will own high‑density boards featuring 30 GHz RF, power, and digital sections, and manage libraries, schematics, and release packages.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of PCB design experience, expertise in Altium, and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar.
• 7 years of experience as a PCB Designer.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of PCB layout principles.
• Experience with high‑reliability aerospace/IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with advanced PCB manufacturing such as blind vias and microvias.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with hardware/mechanical engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer with engineers.
• Own intricate layouts with 30 GHz RF, power, and digital on one board.
• Generate and revise PCB drawings and release packages.
• Manage electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
