Job description

Senior Reward Manager - Belfast - Permanent

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an award-winning organisation as they seek to add a Senior Reward Manager to their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:

As Senior Reward Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evolving the reward strategy to attract, motivate and retain top talent. You'll work closely with senior leadership, finance, and wider HR to ensure the offering is competitive, fair and future-fit.

The main responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of reward frameworks including salary benchmarking, grading, and job evaluation.

  • Lead the annual reward cycle including pay review, bonus schemes, and gender pay reporting.

  • Oversee benefits provision and lead any supplier reviews or enhancements.

  • Advise on reward-related compliance and governance.

  • Support the design and implementation of commission and recognition schemes.
  • Partner with wider HR team and line managers to ensure reward practices are well understood and embedded across the business.

  • Lead or support reward projects such as global harmonisation, flexible benefits, or incentive scheme design.

  • Lead reward analytics and insights to inform strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience in a reward leadership role, ideally within a complex or matrixed organisation.

  • Strong knowledge of UK reward practices, legislation, and trends.

  • Skilled in data analysis and able to translate insight into action.

  • Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) - desirable.
