Job description

We're currently looking for a Senior Reward Consultant on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Reward and Resourcing team, and we are flexible on the location of this role throughout the UK.

The job

Reporting to the Head of Reward and Resourcing, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

  • Act as the lead technical reward expert for Reward activity, designing and developing diverse expertise-led solutions, including all salary management, global benefit, executive remuneration and annual compensation processes
  • Lead on a diverse portfolio of global reward projects and initiatives from technical design through to successful roll out and embedding throughout the organisation
  • Champion compensation and benefit activity throughout the organisation (e.g. regular attendance at business team meetings) and work with HRBPs and Organisational Design, Learning & Development, Engagement to ensure reward initiatives support the overall people plan
  • Manage senior level relationships throughout the organisation in order ensure reward engagement with key internal stakeholders, acting as a true business partner and specialist advisor
  • Manages a selection of 3rd party providers (specialist consultancies, data providers, benefit brokers and suppliers etc.), working with the Head of Reward and Resourcing to source the right level of support and ensuring the contractual arrangements are being adhered to
  • Contribute to the development of the functional Strategy, working with the Head of Reward and Resourcing to define a long term, integrated reward strategy for ACCA, ensuring all projects and policies are in line with the people plan and overall organisational strategy
  • Deputise for the Head of Reward across all activities, acting as the delegated authority to approve work in their absence.

The person

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A good commercial understanding of the business environment to define reward solutions which are in line with organisational goals
  • A background using reward expertise to develop and approve reward policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives
  • Experience delivering global reward projects within desired cost, time and quality parameters
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Expertise in analysing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making
  • Established expert on interpreting and applying knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in the reward arena
  • Strong experience in liaising with a variety of stakeholders globally.
