Job summary

Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a Senior Reverse Engineer I to join the EA Security team. This role focuses on analyzing cheats to ensure a fair gaming experience across EA's titles. You will work closely with developers, conduct anti-cheat assessments, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of reverse engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of operating system internals for Windows, Android & Linux.
  • Ability to safely handle potentially malicious software.

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer user-mode cheats developed for PC, mobile, and consoles.
  • Document and report on functionality of analyzed cheats.
  • Perform anti-cheat assessments of pre-release products.

Skills

Knowledge of the ARM architecture
Ability to read and understand x86/x64 assembly language
Experience with debuggers such as WinDbg
Ability to articulate reverse engineering issues
Software development experience

Education

Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security
