Job Title: Retrofit Energy Assessor

Type: Permanent Full Time, 40 Hours

We are seeking a Retrofit Energy Assessor to join our Planned Hub in the Welwyn and Hatfield area.

About the Role

Responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the team to deliver high standards of service. Reporting to the Decarbonisation Manager, you will help positively impact communities, ensure PAS compliance, and oversee retrofit schemes including External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Windows, Loft Insulation, and Air Source Heat Pumps. You will also conduct retrofit assessments, air tightness testing, EPC, and modelling with two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage PAS 2030/2035 compliance and oversee audits
• Conduct retrofit assessments, EPC, Borescope surveys, and air tightness tests
• Inspect works through site visits and ensure compliance with company standards
• Manage supply chain compliance strategies
• Collaborate with Contracts Managers to oversee contracts from start to finish
• Implement and adhere to HSEQ policies
• Evaluate building fabric, interpret EPC ratings, and recommend retrofit methods

About You

Candidates should have customer service experience in social housing, excellent communication skills, and be IT literate. Essential qualifications include Retrofit Assessor, Coordinator, and testing certifications, with at least 1 year of Retrofit Coordinator experience.
