Brewers Decorator Centres Market Harborough is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Advisor to join our Paintwell store on Welland Business Park. You will provide exceptional service in store, support the Branch Manager, assist with stock and operations, and help drive sales with product recommendations.

Experience in retail is preferred, especially supervisory or team-leader roles. We offer 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, and a range of benefits with a salary of £29,500 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team, deputising in their absence.
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch to deliver Brewers’ reputation for quality.
• Handle cashing up and supervisory tasks as a keyholder.
• Allocate work to the team and keep them motivated.
• Use product knowledge to recommend the best products for customers.
• Plan and agree sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with targets.
• Ensure orders and enquiries are dealt with promptly.
• Mix paint for customers and handle specialist orders.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Senior Retail Sales Advisor to join our Paintwell store in Market Harborough to provide exceptional service to our customers in store. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Located on Welland Business Park, our Market Harborough PaintWell store proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with the broadest range of decorating materials - customers will find everything they need in store including trade and designer paints from a wide variety of brands and all of the decorating materials needed to complete their home décor projects. Our friendly team between them have many years of industry experience which is how we have managed to build up a strong customer base and a reputation for being the decorator’s first choice. Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm

As a Senior Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team including deputising in their absence
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Have keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and associated supervisory tasks
• Allocate work to the team, keeping them motivated and driven
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Planning and agreeing sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with Company targets
• Ensuring orders and enquiries are dealt with and followed up on promptly
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch

Who We Are Looking For To Join Our Team

• Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Highly motivated with the drive to succeed and do a great job
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• The ability to motivate and inspire colleagues to achieve the highest level of customer service
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
• Ideally lives within a close proximity to the store to be able to respond to potential alarm calls out of hours
• An interest in our industry would be advantageous but not essential as product training will be given
